Hand-collected stones from Colorado, powder coat pigment, acrylic, diamond dust natural glass glitter and pyrite mounted on 19^th century European side chair.

New work by Dallas abstract expressionist, Christi Meril. This original fine art sculptural piece was created with a one of a kind cairns balanced upon an antique 19^th century side chair.  The cairns is created with hand-collected stones from Colorado that have remained either natural or embellished with powder coat paint and natural eco-friendly glass glitter called “diamond dust”. The message of the piece is to serve as a reminder that you are on the right path. For the artist that path is one of grace, patience, thankfulness and adventure.  Cairns can also mark the remembrance of loved ones, as well as, holding onto the promises and covenants in your life that remain constant.
